Choirs at UMC at Milltown

Sanctuary Choir (Adults) sings for worship service on Sunday morning. The choir sings a variety of choral repertoire ranging from the Renaissance through the 21st Century. The Sanctuary choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm from September through June.

Chancel Choir (Youth, Grades 5-12) sings for worship service on Sunday morning. Choristers learn the principles of sight singing and proper choral singing technique. The Chancel choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm during the school year.

Bell Choir (All ages) performs several times throughout the church year.
The Bell Choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 11:15.

Summer Choir (everyone welcome) sings for worship service on Sunday morning in July and August. Summer Choir rehearses Sunday mornings at 9:20 am.

Concert Series

Concert Series: Concerts are free of charge and are followed by a reception.
All performances begin promptly at 5:00 P.M.


• Sunday, March 20 - Concert to be announced.
• Sunday, May 29 - Liberty Extravaganza
  The concert will be presented by the Liberty Choir and Brass. In celebration of memorial Day, this concert will feature patriotic music and other works by American composers.
• Sunday, June 12 - Choir Festival
  Choirs from churches throughout the area will combine with the Sanctuary Choir to sing as the Festival Choir. The concert will feature works by J.S. Bach, Jane Marshall, Mark Williams and others.
